TERTIUS JONCK

It isn’t every company executive who can seamlessly shift gears between managing a successful organisation and making award winning wines.

Tertius Jonck grew up in the countryside town of Robertson and completed his secondary schooling 1998. Tertius graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Oenology and Viticulture. He was extremely ambitious from the outset and his winemaking career begun as an Assistant Winemaker at Brandvlei Wynkelder in the Worcester region whilst also enjoying a harvest season in Germany.

Tertius was appointed as a Winemaker at De Wet Cellar in 2007. During the years that followed, he offered a unique blend of leadership, vision and knowledge and in 2015 he was appointed as Manager/Winemaker at De Wet Cellar. With Tertius at the helm there is no doubt that the Company will continue to prosper.

PHILLIP VERCUIEL

Phillip Vercuiel is first and foremost, a proud father and husband to his beautiful wife. Phillip is an avid fisherman with a flair for cooking. In his personal family time, he thrives on seeking out new mountain biking adventures and spending time outdoors.

Phillip has a natural ability to do things in an interesting and stylish way, demonstrates a genuine passion for achieving goals, and is energized by any challenge that stands in his way. He lives for the moment , the now, and always strives to be present……and of course, he loves wine.
